Hi there! My name is Joseph Kallely. I’m a Finance and Accounting student at Purdue University with a passion for financial analysis, banking, and risk management. With more than two years in banking, I specialize in auditing, regulatory compliance, and revenue management. I’ve completed advanced coursework from UPenn and Columbia, focusing on cash flow analysis, valuation, and risk assessment. Skilled in key banking regulations (BSA, Reg CC, Reg E, RFPA), I’m eager to apply my expertise in finance, banking, and data analytics while continuously learning and growing.
Middlesex Savings Bank
Bank Teller
During my two years at Middlesex Savings Bank, I built strong relationships with customers, handled their inquiries, and ensured a smooth banking experience through great service. I processed a variety of transactions—deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments —while keeping accuracy and compliance a top priority. I also helped manage branch cash flow, performed daily reconciliations, and spotted discrepancies. A big part of my role involved identifying potential fraud for further review. Through my in-branch experience and a job shadow, I gained hands-on exposure to BSA/AML compliance and financial fraud prevention, including handling time-sensitive tasks like subpoenas, trustee summons, and tax levies at both the IRS and state level.
Purdue Aviation Consulting (PAC)
Founder & President
I started and lead Purdue’s first student-run aviation consulting group, where we tackle real strategic and operational challenges in the aviation industry. We've partnered with four mid-sized airlines to work on projects around revenue management, route planning, and pricing. I also run recruitment, training, and mentorship to help students build real-world experience in aviation consulting.
